2310336 Principles of Biophysical Techniques

This is the second half of the physical biochemistry treatment at our Department.

A course in physical biochemistry was offered at our Department a long, long time (>30 years) ago.

In 1988, Dr. Lerson Tanasugarn inherited the teaching load for physical biochemistry from Dr. Jariya Boonyawat.

In 1997, the original and rigorous physicl biochemistry course, 2310504, was simplified into 2310405.

In 2012, the Department of Chemistry decided to stop offering an introductory course in physical chemistry, which was the prerequisite for our physicl biochemitry course. The Biochemistry Departemnt responded by splitting the 3-credit 2310405 course into two 2-credit courses, namely 2310335 (Basic Physical Biochemistry), which concentrates on the theoretical treatment and 2310336 (Principles of Biophysical Techniques), which concentrates on laboratory equipment.
